EL3122 analog giriş terminali, 4 ile 20 mA aralığındaki sinyalleri işler. Akım 16 bitlik bir çözünürlüğe dijitalleştirilir ve elektriksel olarak izole edilmiş olarak daha yüksek seviyeli otomasyon cihazına iletilir. EtherCAT Terminalinin giriş kanalları diferansiyel girişlere sahiptir ve ortak, dahili bir toprak potansiyeline sahiptir. EL3122, iki kanalı tek bir yuvada birleştirir. Açık bir uç veya aşırı yük durumu algılandı. Terminal durumu, E-bus üzerinden kontrol cihazına aktarılır. EtherCAT Terminali, sinyal durumunu ışık yayan diyotlar aracılığıyla gösterir. Hata LED’leri bir aşırı yük durumunu ve kopuk bir kabloyu gösterir.
